Join us on September 12-14 the third edition of the Energy Transition Summit to be held in the Aiken, SC / Augusta, GA area.  We plan to bring together leaders from Southeastern, U.S./North American and International organizations to further explore the progress of the "Energy Transition" and further envision how it will be achieved.  We will explore the energy mix including today's current state versus the generation mix and grid configuration for the future.  We will explore the outlook for fossil, nuclear, renewables and the potential for Hydrogen in the economy of the future.  We expect this networking event to include leaders from Energy, Power, Wind, Solar, Hydrogen, Industrial, Regulatory / Government, Developer, Vendor, EPC and Financial organizations.  Our agenda will focus on big picture transition topics with Panels comprised of Electric Utilities, Industrial / Manufacturing, Maritime & Ports, Aviation/Aerospace & Airports and U.S. Government/Defense.

This Summit will include Presentations, Roundtable Discussions, Panels, Workshops and Virtual & Physical Tours that will bring together executive and technical leaders who are envisioning, planning and investing to advance the Energy economy of the future.

The Summit program, presentations, Roundtable discussions and tours will begin on Tuesday, September 12 in Augusta, GA at the Georgia Cyber Center.  The same afternoon we will tour the Plant Vogtle nuclear power plant and on Wednesday and Thursday delve deeply into Energy Transition topics at the Applied Research Center in nearby Aiken, SC.  Networking and targeted social gatherings will occur on multiple occasions at meal and break times and on one or more evenings.

Preliminary Overview Agenda:

Summit Day 1 - Tuesday Sept. 12, 8:30AM.  Participant Introductions, Overview, Keynotes at Georgia Cyber Center, Augusta

We will kick off the program at the Georgia Cyber Center in Augusta where we will spend the morning with several keynote presentation and a tour of key features of the Cyber Center.

After lunch, join us to visit / tour Georgia Power's Plant Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant and to hear about nuclear power's contribution to the Energy Transition.  Plant Vogtle just announced the full operation of Unit 3, the first new nuclear unit in the U.S. in some 30 years.  Unit 4 is to follow in a few months.  Learn about the connection with SMRs, Advanced Reactors and Hydrogen.
